Grand Ouest Authors is a collaborative effort by writers in the Grand Ouest region of France. Our aim is to establish a network of authors who can join together to participate in regional events, run joint promotional and marketing acitivities and provide mutual support.

We also hope to provide a link between writers groups in the region.

We feel that by banding together, we'll have more of a presence, both in the real world (book signings, sales stands at events, press releases to regional and national media, etc) and online (through our website with its book pages and author profiles, group blog, shop and forum).

There are no fees. You just need to meet the following criteria:

• You live in Brittany, Normandy or the Pays de la Loire.
• You have one or more books in print (via a mainstream publisher or self-published); or you are working on a book project with a view to publishing. You don't have to write about the region - all subjects and genres are welcome, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry and illustrated books.
